New this Week: Bing Image Vertical Refresh

Those of you who enjoy using the Bing image search function will have noticed some changes this week to the way in which the service works. We’ve made a few changes that follow on from the refresh in June 2012 – the image search function now offers bigger thumbnails, related searches, and an exploration pane to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for, fast.

Dense Image Layout – we’ve enhanced the content that is most relevant to make it shine, plus increased the size of thumbnails so that you can see what you’re dealing with.

Exploration Pane – browse around and explore multiple topics at once.

Smooth Hover – our new hover experience is designed to be smooth, fluid and a little bit addictive. Give it go and see for yourself!

Refinement and Filtering- the new filter bar across top gives you powerful functionality at your fingertips, ready for you to explore and discover.
