Grey Matter, a Value Added Reseller for Bing Maps, hosts an annual ISV Partner Day event to showcase the latest Microsoft technologies in front of hundreds of ISVs through breakthrough workshops and networking sessions.

What is ISV Partner Day?

ISV Partner Day, hosted by Grey Matter, is a full-day technical conference focused on helping ISVs accelerate their SaaS business with the support of Microsoft technologies. ISV Partner Day is the only Microsoft-focused tech event in the UK dedicated to ISVs, SaaS providers, and application builders. Grey Matter will be hosted twelve sessions across three tracks – Data, Developer, and Infrastructure – with speakers from Microsoft, Cloud Know How, and their partners.

What did we learn about Bing Maps at ISV Partner Day?

With the increasing trend of online commerce and remote workplace environments, our Microsoft Maps’ session focussed on how to help ISVs build vehicle tracking solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Session Details: How to implement Real Time Vehicle tracking. We all know it is important to know where all of your resources are, whether they be people, vehicles or valuable merchandise or equipment. In this presentation, Clemens will walk through an implementation of real-time Vehicle Tracking using Azute IoT Hub to connect to the incoming vehicle location data, SignalIR web sockets to build a real-time connection, and Microsoft Maps to visualize and report status from those vehicles being tracked.
