‘Bing Get Me There’ London travel app to be discontinued

The UK team at Bing is today discontinuing the ‘Bing Get Me There’ London travel app for Windows Phone and iPhone users. With the advent of Cortana on Windows Phone 8.1, accessing maps and directions for travel has never been easier. Cortana, powered by Bing, is the perfect alternative for Windows Phone users. Simply ask Cortana about your journey and set public transport as your preference in the settings area. You can also access these directions from the Bing Maps app if you don’t yet have Cortana on your Windows Phone.

All of these services offer journey planning in various forms around the world, so not only London transport network but many other destinations in the UK and globally.
