First up is an inside look at the Golden Globes, background on the nominees, and a glimpse into the history as well as ideas and tips for planning the perfect Golden Globes viewing party. Be sure to check out the predictions for who may prevail based on the spikes in Bing searches following the nominee announcements.

Based on Bing search data, look for big things from Bradley Cooper on Sunday at the Golden Globes. Following Coopers’ nomination for Golden Globe’s Best Supporting Actor in American Hustle, searches for the actor were dramatically higher than the other nominees in his category, capturing 90% of all the searches among Best Supporting Actor nominees in December. Following Cooper were Jared Leto for Dallas Buyers Club and Michael Fassbender for 12 Years a Slave.

Additionally, the race is on for the most coveted category, Best Picture.  Two of this year’s most hyped movies, American Hustle and The Wolf Of Wall Street are leading Bing searches amongst nominated movies. American Hustle was the most searched with The Wolf Of Wall Streettaking a close second.

Keep checking Bing.com/awards as we’ll be updating with additional information and resources throughout the Awards Season.
