Today we marked a very important milestone in our search alliance with Yahoo!. As David Pann outlined in his post, as of today, Microsoft’s adCenter advertising platform is now powering all the paid search listings for searchers on both Bing and Yahoo! in the US and Canada.
This is exciting news for advertisers looking to reach a broader audience that comprises almost a third of online users in the US and Canada.
This work represents strong collaboration between the engineering and sales organizations of both companies, who have worked tirelessly to complete both the algorithmic and paid search transitions in 2010 with the quality our customers deserve.
As we launch the new unified search marketplace in the US and Canada, we will continue with our work to deliver a quality transition for customers in markets around the world, while continuing to bring new innovations to both Bing and adCenter in the weeks and months to come.
