Blogher or Bust

Bing is headed to Chicago to attend Blogher ‘09. We are really looking forward to spending time with a dynamic group of more than 1,400 women bloggers from across the country and from every corner of the blogosphere.

With all the walking and talking that will be taking place at Blogher, we thought you may need a few minutes to relax and unwind with complementary micro-massages and micro-makeup retouches. Please come join us and the Microsoft Office team in the MicroSpa located on the second floor in the Missouri Room at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. We will also have plush places to relax, blog, Tweet or check out the latest tech from Microsoft Office and Bing. If your laptop starts to sputter or spark, we’ll have tech services present to assist. And finally, what is a spa without decadent refreshments? Fruits, cheeses, pastries, petit-fours, sparkling wine – join us and indulge! Our Bing cashback partner Sephora will also be giving away a very cool Sephora Natural Beauty Sample Pack when you sign up for a MicroSpa treatment. Fifteen minute massage appointments are booking up fast, so email us before space fills up.

There will be a lot of activity taking place in the MicroSpa throughout the conference. Our very own Betsy Aoki will be co-hosting two meet-ups on Friday and Saturday afternoon (details below) with some very cool guest speakers, as well as some delicious food and beverages. Both sessions promise to deliver lively discussions around what decision overload means to you and what makes Bing a “decision engine.”

On Friday July 24 from 4:00 – 4:45pm, Parentopia bloggers and authors Devra Renner and Aviva Pflock will join Betsy to lead a discussion titled “Decision Overload: Parenting Bloggers’ Perspective. Register for this discussion for free now!

On Saturday July 25 from 4:15 – 5:00pm, tech guru, Techmamas.com founder and co-founder of Silicon Valley Moms Group, Beth Blecherman, will give you a tech blogger’s perspective on smart search and will tap Betsy’s expertise on why we built Bing to be a decision engine. This session is called “Decision Overload: The Nuts and Bolts Behind Smart Search.” Register for this discussion for free now!

We are looking forward to connecting with you all at BlogHer ‘09! If you want to follow us while we are at the conference, we’ll be sending updates via Twitter and #microspa at #blogher09.

Hope to see you there!
