We are pleased to announce that we have increased the free query limit for Bing Custom Search Preview to 20,000 queries/month, allowing you to use more custom search queries for your applications.
Since launching at BUILD 2017, Bing Custom Search has garnered a lot of attention and interest. We are happy to see the excitement surrounding the features and functionality in our latest addition to the Microsoft Cognitive Services collection. Microsoft Cognitive Services enables developers to augment the next generation of applications with the ability to see, hear, speak, understand, and interpret needs using natural methods of communication.
Designed to meet the increasing demand for highly-customized web search, Bing Custom Search is currently available in preview, and helps you create a search experience to deliver better and more relevant results from a targeted web space without a single line of code. Features like ad-free usage, straightforward UI experience, and the ability to pin multiple sites are among the favorites.
Bing Custom Search allows you to leverage the power of Bing's search backend to build a search that fits your needs. For example, if you are interested in bike touring and have a blog dedicated to the subject, you can integrate a bike touring search directly into your blog.
Thousands of developers have signed up to use Bing Custom Search during the short two-month period since launch at BUILD. Many of you are actively developing innovative scenarios utilizing our custom search APIs, and we were delighted by your enthusiasm for this new service at Inspire this month.
We have listened and learned from your feedback and are working to continue innovating and improving Bing Custom Search. In order to meet the demand and help you test the various scenarios more thoroughly, we are announcing that, effective now, we have increased the free query limit for Bing Custom Search from 1,000 queries/month to 20,000 queries/month.
