Bing Maps User Group (UK) – Join Now

BingMapsUsersUK_0 Bing Maps is kicking off its UK user group inaugural event at the Microsoft office in London. Get in early as one of the inaugural members. The first meeting will be on January 13, 2010 from 6PM to 9PM. The Microsoft office is located at 100 Victoria Street, London. Here’s a bit about the event I ripped from the web site:

Our first meeting of the new Bing Maps UK User Group. Open to all newbies, experienced and bing maps wizards there should be something for everyone. We will start informally around 6pm with coffee and socialising and start officially at 7pm finishing up around 9pm and off to the pub.
The first event will have two ‘formal sessions’:

  • Adventures in Mapping at the BBC, Jim Lynn
  • Integrating SQL Server 2008 and Bing Maps, Alastair Aitchison

If you would like to host a session yourself at this event, or future ones please let us know in the comments below. The event will focus on developers but any of you marketing and sales types are more than welcome. Beer and pizza is being kindly donated by Microsoft to let us all relax and unwind.

If you’re in the neighborhood and craving some free coffee, pizza, beer and Bing Maps info it’ll be worth checking it out. More info on the event.
