Toggle between Outlook.com, OneDrive and Office Online with the new app launcher

Today, when you log in to Outlook.com, OneDrive.com, or Office Online, you may notice something new. We have updated our header to create a consistent and simple way to switch between your Microsoft services—the app launcher.

Last week we announced a new way to organize and launch apps in Office 365 for business. Today, we’re introducing the new app launcher, which offers a single point of access to the personal services you use daily: Outlook.com, People, Calendar, OneDrive and Office Online.  We’re excited to say that launching apps is now the same, whether you’re using Office 365 at work, or attending to your personal life in Outlook.com. Consistency just makes sense!

We believe that all of our services work better together. Whether you are sharing a document from OneDrive, co-authoring a Word doc or Excel spreadsheet in your browser, or making a Skype call from Outlook.com—the app launcher lets you switch between them with just a couple of clicks.
