Bing Features: Maps

In our last post of the week we are focusing on Bing Maps.

Bing Maps offers you a variety of tools to help you complete mapping tasks. You can view your map in a different styles including A=Z Barholomew, Ordnance Survey and Bird’s Eye view. You can also search for local businesses, hotels and underground stations.  You can get directions, drag and drop your planned routes, or find and book a restaurant.

Here’s a rundown of Bing Mans features
•    Five map style choices, including Ordnance Survey and Collins Bartholomew for London
•    Expanded map data, including OS maps and improved Bird’s Eye and Aerial imagery
•    Detailed restaurant and hotel information, from partners such as TopTable and
•    More flexible route planning, the ability to drag to customise your route, and save your destination history
