We are releasing a broad set of updates to the Bing Apps which are available for download and will now ship standard on new Windows Phone devices. The app updates are available only to users on Windows Phone 8.1 which is currently in developer preview. It will be available to existing users running compatible hardware and on the next wave of Windows Phone devices in the coming months

Single Sign On:
Based on your feedback, we have made it less cumbersome to log-in and personalize your apps. Now you can enter your Microsoft credentials once, and choose to connect to each Bing App.
Food & Drink
The Bing Food & Drink app was designed with the novice cook and seasoned chef in mind. With thousands of recipes from leading culinary content partners including AllRecipes, BigOven, Epicurious, Bon Appetit, Saveur, Food52, you can explore meals, learn techniques and access recipes in one comprehensive app. With this refresh, we are making three updates:
Cooking Videos in the Palm of Your Hand: Not sure how to correctly hold a chef’s knife? Don’t know how to make bread? Partnering the world’s leading online cooking school, Rouxbe Cooking School, now you can watch thousands of tutorial videos directly from your phone.
Learn from the Masters: We have also recruited world-renowned chefs including Tom Colicchio, Wolfgang Puck, Daniel Boulud, Jacques Pepin, Joel Robuchon, Marcus Samuelsson and Vikas Khanna (just to name a few) to provide insights, recipes and culinary tips so you can learn from the best. Now you can jump into immersive experiences directly from your Windows Phone.
Choose a Source that Fits Your Tastes: The app offers instant access to a variety of recipes and articles from top culinary publishers like AllRecipes, Epicurious, Saveur and food bloggers like Food 52. Since we know that you have your own unique taste, we’re introducing Source Hub which lets you choose your favorite sources. Now you can quickly reference top content in one personalized location.
The Bing Travel app helps turns your travel inspiration into reality, providing destination guides, rich photos, expert reviews, and much more, right in the palm of your hand. Plan your next trip from hotels and flights to top attractions, or make last minute booking decisions after comparing prices from multiple sources.
Track Your Flight Status with Travel App:With this update, we also giving you the ability to track your flight arrival and destination time. Pulling from real time data feeds, now you can stay up to date on flight status while on the go.
In addition to world class outlets including the Associated Press and Reuters we are expanding the content available via the New York Times.
New York Times Blogs Arrive: While the gray lady is known for their world class news coverage, we’re expanding access to their blog sections which include health, politics, sports, business and more.
Safeguards for Explicit Content: For select content partners, a warning notification will appear notifying you of offensive language or objectionable content.
